The Journal of Pedagogy, Research, and Innovation in Mathematics Education (J-PRIME) is committed to maintaining ethical standards throughout the publication process. This policy outlines the responsibilities of authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher.

For Authors

  1. Authors must ensure that their manuscript is an original work and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  2. Proper acknowledgment of all sources used in the manuscript is required.
  3. Authors are responsible for participating in the peer-review process and addressing feedback from reviewers.
  4. Any potential conflicts of interest or errors discovered after publication must be disclosed to the editorial team immediately.
  5. Only individuals who have significantly contributed to the research should be listed as authors.

For Reviewers

  1. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and provide objective, constructive feedback.
  2. They should evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, clarity, methodology, and contribution to the field.
  3. Reviewers must identify relevant, uncited work and notify the editors of any ethical concerns, including similarities to other works.
  4. Conflicts of interest must be avoided; reviewers should recuse themselves if necessary.

For Editors

  1. Editors are responsible for making impartial and fair decisions on manuscript acceptance or rejection based on its quality and relevance to the journal's scope.
  2. They ensure the integrity of the peer-review process and safeguard the anonymity of both authors and reviewers.
  3. Editors address ethical issues, including cases of misconduct, and take corrective actions when needed, such as issuing corrections or retractions.
  4. They must disclose any conflicts of interest and act transparently in all editorial matters.
