Manuscript Structure
Manuscript Writing Guidelines for J-PRIME
Title
The title of the manuscript should be concise, clear, and informative, consisting of no more than 12 words. It should reflect the core of the research without using uncommon abbreviations or overly technical terms. The main idea of the study should appear first, followed by a brief relevant explanation. A compelling and relevant title will help readers quickly understand the focus of the article.
Author Information
Each manuscript must include the full names of the authors (without academic titles), their institutional affiliations, and active email addresses for correspondence. This information is essential to identify the authors and facilitate further communication if needed.
Abstract
The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English, with a length of 150-200 words. It should include the background of the study, objectives, methods (including research design, subjects, instruments, and data analysis), main findings, conclusions, and contributions. Additionally, the abstract should be accompanied by 3-5 keywords or phrases relevant to the study to support indexing and searchability.
Introduction
The introduction should provide a brief overview of the research, including the background and a literature review to establish the state of the art in the field. Authors should clearly state the primary research problem or question, provide a brief explanation of the methodology, and highlight the distinctiveness and advantages of their research compared to previous studies. The objectives and novelty of the study must be clearly stated, and the section should not exceed three pages.
Research Methods
This section should detail the research methods, including the design, population or sample, instruments and tools used for data collection, and the procedures followed during the research. Techniques for data collection and analysis must also be systematically described to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Results and Discussion
The results section should present the findings, supported by adequate and relevant data. In the discussion, authors must relate the findings to the research objectives and questions posed in the introduction. Each finding should be interpreted scientifically, compared with prior studies, and any similarities or differences should be identified. This section provides the critical analysis of the study's findings.
Conclusion
The conclusion should summarize the objectives of the research and its key findings. It should not merely restate the results and discussions but highlight the significance of the findings and their implications. Additionally, authors can provide suggestions for future research based on their findings.
References
The reference list should include only the sources cited in the manuscript. Authors must include at least 20 references, 80% of which should be primary sources such as journal articles. Most of the references should be from national and international publications within the last 10 years. References must be formatted according to the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition style. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software like EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero to ensure consistent citation formatting.
