The journal serves as a platform for disseminating research findings, conceptual studies, and critical discussions in the field of Islamic economics at local, national, and global levels.</p> <p>The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, <strong>Islamic finance</strong>, <strong>classical and contemporary Islamic economic thought</strong>, <strong>zakat and waqf management</strong>, <strong>halal industry, Islamic digital economy, sharia-based entrepreneurship, and economic policy rooted in Islamic values.</strong> In addition, <em>El-Ubaid</em> welcomes scholarly work that explores <strong>local economic practices inspired by indigenous wisdom—particularly those evolving in the Tanoh Gayo region and Aceh—within the framework of maqashid al-shariah and social justice.</strong></p> <p>With a commitment to inclusive and value-based academic development, the journal invites contributions from scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students across various disciplines. <em>El-Ubaid</em> aspires to become a reputable reference for advancing Islamic economics and supporting the construction of a just, sustainable, and values-driven economic system.</p>
